Membership Information
Conflict Mediation Services of Downsview (CMSD) is a not-for-profit organization that helps people in families, workplaces, schools and neighbourhoods understand and resolve conflict. CMS-D is committed to restorative justice and the peaceful resolution of conflict in order to reduce violence and crime, and build healthy and safe communities.
CMS-D invites those who share an interest in values, philosophy, and facilitation of community-based mediation to become members of the organization. Individuals who live, work, or volunteer in the former City of North York are eligible to become voting members. Others may join as non-voting associate members. Memberships are valid from May 1 – April 30 to accommodate renewals and ensure voting/nomination privilege in advance of the Annual General Meeting in June.
